Widening Circles Collaborative extends a deep bow to the wayshowers & wisdom weavers, visionaries & revolutionaries listed below, for their brilliant path lighting, community organizing, healing & liberating efforts. For those who radically love this world.

We acknowledge that we are currently based in Oga Pogeh Owingeh (Santa Fe, NM) upon unceded lands of Indigenous peoples who have and continue to steward and care for these places since time immemorial. As uninvited guests we come with humility, gratitude, and respect and we actively commit to rematriation, healing, and repair. We continuously seek right relationship with Indigenous stewards past, present, and future and honor the ancestors and spirits who protect the sanctity of their homelands.

Our name name is inspired by beloved poet prophet philosopher Rainier Marie Rilke, whose work has been exquisitely translated by Joanna Macy and Anita Barrows, as seen here.

I live my life in widening circles
that reach out across the world.
I may not complete this last one
but I give myself to it.

I circle around God, around the primordial tower.
I’ve been circling for thousands of years
and I still don’t know: am I a falcon,
a storm, or a great song?
